Since we’re on the subject of tattoos, I thought I’d mention a new Angelina tattoo.
Last weekend Angelina was photographed having a day of fun with her kids in Central Park. One photograph reveled a new addition to her body art. It’s of roman numerals. “V- MCMXL.” It’s located next to the “XIII” tattoo Jolie got several years ago. Put together it reads XIII-V-MCMXL. A very crafty fan did some research and found out that it might be a reference to … Winston Churchill. The numbers read out to be 13 / 05 /1940, the date of Churchill’s famous Blood, Toil, Tears, and Sweat speech.
Now, I know you’re thinking, Winston Churchill? Really? Angelina Jolie knows who he is ?
In several interviews Jolie has spoken about the respect and admiration she has for the late British Prime Minister. In an interview from 2005 she was asked who were her idols growing up. Jolie stated “Winston Churchill! I did, I loved Winston Churchill! Yeah. I have posters of Lawrence of Arabia and Winston Churchill books – that’s my house.” She went on to say “when I get depressed, or I feel a little out of focus, I read their speeches, or their books, or things about them. It makes me feel centred. They just seem to be very clear thinkers. I’m sure I could analyse it to death, but they just inspire me and focus me. “ And in another interview Jolie talked again about her Churchill love. “I love Churchill. I have every book on him. I listen to his speeches on tape – the last great orator and statesmen, and his painting and his bricklaying and his marriage. He’s one of the founders of the United Nations.”
Random I know, but true.
So Us Weekly, when you decide to write a year old story about Angelina’s new tattoo, don’t forget to credit us. We know you get all your info from Google

Except it’s probably about her mother.
XIII = 13. 13th letter of the alphabet is M. Her mom’s name was Marcheline.
The rest of it is May of 1940. Every website I visited said she was born in 1950, not 1940 but who knows. Maybe she lied about her age.
ohyeswedid: It’s not about her mom, she was 56 when she died, so if it says she was born in 1950 she was born in 1950, May 9th 1950. she lied about her age? don’t think so, it’s on record.
That’s so disrespectful, how would you like someone to call your late Mum a liar??? (May she rest in peace).
It’s prolly Winston Churchhill because of her previous statements and Angie’s focus on human events, it is obvious that she is preparing herself for her future endeavors.
Angie is a very deep person, in other words a nerd. She has always been a thinker and surrounds herself with the insprattional works of those who have inspirered her.
