Thanks so much for the scans! I’ve been looking all over the fansites, and none of them had the interview.
Great interview. Thanks for posting it. And finally some comments from him on the whole love triangle fiasco, although I wish he had made it clearer that Angelina did not “steal” him or break his marrage. She’s been unfairly bashed by so many people for something she never did and something she’s always said she would never do in the first place.
And all Brad could do was play “the strong silent” type all this time…
This interview was more than was expected. I don’t think we need to hear Brad “defending” Angelina as it is silly to think he was stolen in the first place. He is not on object. He has said again and again that she did not break up his marriage. It is just too bad that so many people did not seem to remember or believe. He said so to Diane Sawyer in 2005 and in an interview he did for GQ.
The two of them (Brad and Angelina) appear to be comfortable with each other and don’t feel the need to defend the other. It seems to me that in this interview, he just about admits that it was his attraction that had to be taken care of any way, not her’s and he owed it to his spouse to make sure the marriage was over before he moved forward. Which to me was more than some people do. He could have just walked out and not looked back, like so many in Hollywood and in real life, but did not. This seems to put the lie to his former spouse saying she was surprised by the break-up of their marriage.
It was all between the two of them, which again, gets lost in the hype of the post break-up talk.
Two people get married and only two people can decide to divorce and if I remember correctly, she is the one that filed, so, it was her choice to end her own marriage, again, a point lost on so many. Now maybe all this triangle nonesense can end as the press may finally be getting the point.

The interview is a good reading, although somehow I really wish the interviewer could ask Brad some questions about Angelina, so that he could have the opportunity to vocally express how much he loved her. After all because of Angelina, Brad had his “having a family of his own” dream come true and has a new and more meaningful life ahead.
Yeah, yeah, I know action speaks louder than words.
But it could be so romantic to hear him “shouting” the love words out to his wonderful partner and mother of his children.
And, maybe, just maybe with those love words been spoken, the wolf pack haters and tabloids can back off from attacking Angelina.
Guess a wishful thinking anyway. (Sigh)

I loved the interview, Brad was genuine and forthright and answered the writer’s question with truthfulness. There is not more you can ask about that time that he didn’t answer in his own succinct style.
To tell you the truth I was surprised at how open he was in this interview, since I read the GQ interview. I didn’t expect him to be so revealing about him fighting his attraction to Angie and not wanting to deal with it at that time.
That’s why I call Aniston a liar and a fool, she had the ball in her hand and she dropped it and didn’t want to pick it up.
I really believe she and she brought into Angie’s public personna, thought Brad attraction to Angie was a fling and she would be around to pick the pieces after Brad came running back to her.

thanks for scaning the interview of brad pitt in the v magazine. the love words he has been spoken that angelina is his love, his partner, and the mother of his children. its very clear thst he really love his family and hes so honest clearly you can see how he loves his kids. hoping the tabloids and some of those magazines can back off attacking angelina.

I know this is “old news”, but never have I run across an article that so eloquently expressed my views of Jen Aniston.
